A healthy, vitamin-packed green smoothie with a fresh and sweet minty-citrus flavor.
- 2 medium-large bananas
- 1 1/2 pink grapefruits, rinsed and peeled
- 1 navel orange, rinsed and peeled
- 1 packed cup spinach
- 20 mint leaves*
- 1/4 cup almond milk**
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 large ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
*I used chocolate mint since that’s what I had on hand, but feel free to experiment with whatever kind you’d like. You also may want to use less depending on how minty you want your smoothie to be and how large your mint leaves are.
*I typically buy Silk Original Almond Milk, but again, feel free to use what you have on hand.
The recipe can be halved to make 1-2 smoothies (depending on size), which might be helpful if your blender is on the small side.
